Choose During Desktop Client Install

You can choose which folders to sync locally during the Nextcloud Desktop Client installation.

We recommend to deselect all local synchronization during the initial Nextcloud Desktop Client software installation. It's easy for users to modify this later and it can smooth out the on-boarding process.

Using Windows File Manager

Choose to Sync Locally or Keep Files in the Cloud Only
