Citel C-4110

Inexpensive IP phone that supports IAX2 protocol as well as SIP and PoE.

The Citel C-4110 has two Ethernet ports that can be bridged or it can act as a gateway with DHCP, NAT, etc.

Setup

Firmware

Update firmware first using web interface.

Determine IP Address

Get IP Address of phone: Press the down arrow.

Web Browser Configuration

Basic → MMI Set

  • Greeting Message (what's displayed)
  • Time zone

Network → LAN

  • Bridged Ethernet ports or NAT
  • DHCP if NAT

VoIPSIP

  • Configure both SIP accounts (lines)

VoIPIAX2

  • Server IP
  • Port (4569)
  • Account Name (extension)
  • Account Password
  • Phone Number (extension)
  • Voice Mail Number
    • shortcut key
      • ## for example
    • will dial Voice Mail Text
  • Voice Mail Text (voicemail extension)
  • Refresh Time
    • 120 seconds matches Asterisk default
      • 60 seconds may be better to keep NATed connection open
  • Enable Register

Phone → DSP

  • Signal Standard (US)

Phone → Function Key

  • Line Key Setting
    • IAX2:Name (set both line keys?)
    • SIP1:Name1 (name is for you to identify)
    • SIP2:Name2

Phone → Function Key

  • F1-F4
    • Voicemail, Park, Pickup, etc.
    • F1 = Memory Key = *97

Dial Peer

This feature modifies dialled numbers.
