We create an Active Directory user group named NoRedirection adding users for whom we don't want Folder Redirection.

We create a Group Policy Object linked to the AD OU containing your user objects.

We use the user group NoRedirection in the Security Filtering section of the GPO to limit it's effect to the desired users.

We create folder redirection policies that set the policy back to the local profile location (the default) in order to counteract the upstream redirection policy.

Set the NoRedirection GPO to Enforced, if necessary to take precedence over other GPOs linked to the same OU.

Check for redirection status:

1. Start → Run → %appdata%
2. Click on the yellow folder icon next to the folder path to show the network path
