Sharing Files or Folders with Nextcloud

Links to Files
Users can create simple sharing links, using the web interface or client app, that can be sent to recipients via e-mail or other means.
It is simple to modify the share options to require a password or set an expiration date for the share to enhance security.
Browser App (Files)
Log into your VA Cloud Storage account, open the Files app and switch to the table view:
Click the share icon next to the file you want to share, then click the '+' next to Share Link:
The file share link will be created and copied to your Windows Clipboard. You can then paste the link into an email, for example, to send larges files to anyone with an e-mail address.
Client App (Windows)
In the Windows File Manager, right-click the file you want to share, then select Nextcloud → Copy Public Link.
Share a Folder
Users with sufficient permissions can share cloud folders using the web interface or client app.
Group Folders
Group Folders are created, maintained and managed by Group Admins.
