This software requires Oracle Java and thus significant resources and so may not be appropriate for minimalist platforms.

We install the iSymphony server on our Virtual Architects vPBX template, but leave it disabled by default. Enable it like this:

chkconfig iSymphonyServer on

iSymphony requires firewall (TCP) ports 50000 and 50003 to be open.

Admin → Module Admin → Extended → Check Online

Install Asterisk API.

Download the FreePBX module from the iSymphony download page.

Admin → Module Admin → Upload Modules

and upload the FreePBX iSymphony module you just downloaded.

Go to Local Module Administration and install the uploaded module.

Don't forget to Apply Configuration.

Then Admin → iSymphony

service iSymphonyServer start|stop|restart

You need Oracle Java installed on the client workstation.

Execute the installer:

The default administrative username and password is admin and secret.

In iSymphony: Tools → Preferences → Administration Login

• Host → Your PBX IP
• Username → admin
• Password → secret

Not done yet.

The user username and password is extension number and ???.
