VA vFax Service

You can use these file-types:

  • JPG
  • PDF
  • PostScript
  • TIFF
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • CSV
  • HTML
  • TXT (Plain Text)

Receiving Faxes

Faxes are delivered via e-mail:

  • Single recipient
  • Multiple recipients

Sending Faxes

  • Sent fax notifications can be enabled or disabled
  • Regardless of how a fax is sent, they will be displayed in the vFax Portal with their current status

  • Use the links above
  • Most folks use this method

Email-to-Fax Gateway

  • Supports multiple e-mail attachments and multiple recipients
  • Email-to-Fax supports up to 5 attachments
  • Attachments may be sent in JPG, PDF, Adobe PostScript, TIFF, Microsoft Word, Excel, CSV, HTML & Plain Text formats
  • You must send from an authorized e-mail account ('from' address)
  • You may add cover page to the subject line to have our system utilize the email body as a cover page
  • Upon submission our system will reply with a confirmation or rejection notice

To send a fax using our Email-to-Fax service simply send an email using the following parameters:

To: <10_digit_number>@emailyourfax.com
From: authorized@email_address.com
Subject: <Your vFax DID number; 10 digits only>
Body: <blank>

Windows Software

Optional application that makes it very easy fax from your desktop:

:!: The windows software does not install a fax printer device.

Once installed, run the Virtual Network Fax app and enter your vFax account credentials.

There is little benefit to this software beyond what the web portal already provides.

  • Use FaxEnable to convert a copier or fax machine to vFax
  • FaxEnable can be used for sending or receiving or both
  • Manage FaxEnable in the Vitelity portal
  • A factory reset is about all you can do on the FaxEnable device itself

Factory Reset

  1. Unplug the FaxEnable device from the power
  2. Press and hold the reset button (RST) on the back of the device
  3. While still holding the reset buttom, plug the device back into power
  4. Continue holding the reset button for 20 seconds after lights blink/flash and then release
  5. Wait 10-15 minutes for the device to fully handshake with Vitelity then retest
