Parallels RAS Universal Printing redirects the default printer settings from the client side to the remote session, so users should configure them locally first.
Settings changed in the remote session won't save after signing off; it's the expected behavior for RAS UP (universal printing).
Printing is complicated and issues are frequently fixed in newer versions of RAS and RAS clients. It is recommended to upgrade your farm and clients to the most up to date version.
