Your CloudStorage administrator will create your user and you will receive a welcome email with credentials

• First check the Operating System version on your Mac by clicking the Apple icon in the upper left then choose About. Note the version number.
• Login to your CloudStorage account using information from your Welcome letter
• Click the user icon in the upper right corner
• Click the download graphic near the bottom of the menu
• Click the version of the client that is correct for your Mac
• In your download location double click the drive icon to the right of the file name you downloaded
• In the pop up windows double click the Cloud Drive icon
• Click Continue, Continue, Agree, Continue, Install, input credentials if asked. Click Login

Note: If this is a shared computer remove the check from Auto-Login. Also, use the CloudStorage icon in the Menu Bar to sign out when finished.

Note: These icons will appear when logged into your Virtual Architects CloudStorage account.

• Cloud Drive Mac Client will now show in your Applications
• A Cloud Drive icon will show on your desktop
• Cloud Drive will show under devices in Finder
• A Cloud Drive icon will show in your Menu Bar

You can use the Cloud Drive just as you would a local drive by dragging and dropping.

Unless otherwise configured files shown in Cloud Drive are representations. When the file is accessed it is then downloaded for use.

By clicking the Cloud Drive icon in the Menu Bar you will get a menu with options for checking current tasks, signing out, quitting the app and configuration.

For configuration click the gear icon. The menu opens in your default browser. By default it opens with Info but clicking on the device name on the left opens a menu showing other options including Settings. By clicking on an item it opens a sub menu for configuration.
