Both of our webmail options will force the use of SSL encrypted connections for your mail security.
or, if you have your own domain hosted on our server:
The standard webmail option has controls for:
It's a very good webmail client with lots of features.
This is a big issue with an easy fix. It's a big issue because, if not set correctly, your messaging partners will not be able to click 'Reply' to your messages.
Since our mail system supports many domains besides 'sonoracomm.com', webmail has to 'guess' what the appropriate 'From Address for any user, unless specifically configured. It does so based on the browser URL you use to access webmail.
For example, if your domain is 'yourdomain.com' and your e-mail address on our system is 'you@yourdomain.com', and you access webmail with the URL 'http://webmail.yourdomain.com', your From Address will always be guessed correctly.
However, assuming the same domain and e-mail address, but a URL of 'http://webmail.sonoracomm.com', the 'From Address' will not be guessed correctly.
It is recommended that you save all the guesswork by specifying your default 'From Address' like this:
Address Book → Email addresses → Add new address entry
Add yourself with your desired full name and e-mail address. Also select From Address = Yes, default.
This builds on the 'From Address' discussion above.
If you use multiple aliases (which are free, by the way) and you want to maintain multiple identities, add an additional Address Book entry with the alternate e-mail address and select From Address = Yes.
Once you have multiple Address Book entries specified as 'From Address = Yes':

The RoundCube webmail client:
The RoundCube webmail client shows the same folders and messages that you would see with the standard webmail client, or any other IMAP mail client. However, it handles IMAP folders quite well and may be the best option if you have a large IMAP mail store.
Set the 'From Address' and define other 'Identities' like this:
Settings → Identities
Set the default identity (From Address), by selecting the checkbox 'Set default'.
In our standard Usermin webmail, just deleting a message from a folder will cause the folder to be expunged…even if you delete a message that is already marked as deleted.
In RoundCube webmail (handles folders better), select a folder then click on the little 'gear' icon in the lower left corner and choose 'Compact'.
