In our experience, cloud storage services (particularly free cloud storage services) are not compatible with Remote Desktop Services…at least when multiple users are involved.

As RDS is quite popular, this has been a fairly large problem in the past.

We are now offering OwnCloud cloud storage for personal or business use.

We have devised a safe method for implementing cloud storage on RDS servers, where stored data can readily be accessed by multiple users on an RDS system. However, the data is not synchronized to (copied to) the RDS server eliminating the primary risk.

Individual users will see a mapped drive to their OwnCloud storage.
