AVG Anti-Malware Troubleshooting
Sometimes AVG gets messed up. You can usually get it working by uninstalling, then reinstalling. If that doesn't work as anticipated, try this variation of that plan:
- Log into the problem PC as an administrator
- Uninstall AVG CloudCare (again, if necessary)
- Reboot the PC and log back in as an administrator
- Run the AVG Cleaner tool (32 or 64 bit as appropriate)
- Download it here: http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities
- Reboot the PC and log back in as an administrator
- Reinstall AVG CloudCare (again, if necessary)
