<note tip>Filesystems can be **NTFS**, **FAT32** or **exFAT**.</note>

<note warning>This will completely remove any data on the USB flash drive.</note>

To clean and format a removable drive with PowerShell, use these steps:

Run **PowerShell** as **administrator**:
