If you are running Linux system, you can boot your computer from GParted media. * Right click the source partition and click “Shrink Volume” and follow the wizard to shrink the partition. * Shrink the partition to something substantially smaller than you think you need * Reboot to CloneZilla * Select working with images * Create the image using Beginner ==== Restore to Smaller Drive ==== * Boot to CloneZilla with smaller drive * Choose working with images * Choose Advanced * Choose Restore image * Select image to restore * In advanced options tick icds. This disables checking destination disk size * Continue with the wizard leaving the default options * After imaged on the small drive expand the partition to use entire drive I suggest after successfully creating the smaller drive image re-save to avoid it being necessary to go through this procedure again.
